MAFS UK’s Tayah in hospital with mastitis just days after giving birth to baby girl

Just days after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Married at First Sight’s Tayah Victoria revealed that she was back at the hospital as she is suffering from mastitis.

On October 7, Tayah and her husband, Adam Aveling, whom she met on the Channel 4 show, welcomed their first baby into the world, named Beau Emily Aveling.

On Saturday, Tayah, 25, offered an update on her Instagram story where she revealed that she’s currently struggling with mastitis and was joined in the hospital by “aunty Em”.

“Auntie Em came to visit this weekend but unfortunately spending time in the hospital as I have mastitis,” she wrote as she shared a picture.

Mastitis is a common post-pregnancy condition that causes breast tissue to become inflamed, with 1 in 5 experiencing it within six months of giving birth.

A 10-day course of antibiotics is usually employed to treat the condition, but it could last as long as three weeks.

Tayah and Adam, 26, announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram in a post that has since accumulated nearly 130k likes.

She told her 263k Instagram followers: “7th October, the day our lives completely changed. Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way.

“To my Adam, I didn’t think I could love you even more but seeing you with our daughter completely fills my heart. Just want to say a massive thank you to Doncaster hospital, for going above and beyond to reassure me and to the amazing lady who stayed after her shift had finished to deliver our girl.

“Welcome to the world our darling Beau.”

The comment section was a flurry of positivity, with many MAFS UK alumni congratulating the couple.

Amy Christopher wrote: “She’s perfect!! Congratulations can’t wait to teach her all about astrology & crystals well done babe xxx”

Similarly, Rosie Mac, who worked as Emilia Clarke’s body double in Game of Thrones, wrote: “Absolute angel, congratulations to you both she’s so so perfect.”

Gogglebox mum Lisa Baggs added: “How wonderful ! She is just perfect ! Huge congrats to you both.”

Baby Beau's grandmother Angela said: “Welcome to the world and our family our beautiful granddaughter, we love you so much and so proud of you all.
