Good Morning Britain’s weather girl Lucy Verasamy has taken to social media to gush over the September heatwave while donning a skintight tweed miniskirt. The ITV host, 41, relaxed against a hay bale as she gave a glimpse of her perfectly tanned pins after spending time working on her latest Marks and Spencer’s campaign in the Midlands.

What a summery September it’s been so far!

Lucy paid homage to the last few days of summer with a series of sunny snaps, which gave just a glimpse of her perfect pins.

Donning a smart trilby hat, Lucy casually leaned against a bale of hay as she gazed into the distance with a hand on her hip.

Wearing a smart tweed miniskirt, the ITV star dressed appropriately for the weather as she gave her 155,000 followers a flash of her toned legs.

Matching the skirt with a navy, round-neck T-shirt, Lucy looked every inch the country girl as she enjoyed the last few days of summer up in Worcestershire.

Having clearly enjoyed her summer, Lucy celebrated her sun-drenched days in the caption.

She wrote: “What a summery September it’s been so far!

“A reminder of sunny days mid summer when I learnt about (heatwave!) honey.

“It was fascinating to hear all about the honey making process from master bee keeper David – was hooked on his every word & then got to taste the honey straight from the hive/honeycomb!!

“A rare treat,” Lucy penned before adding

The star’s followers flocked to the comments to weigh in on the weather girl’s summery outfit.

Hicksandbrown wrote: “You look incredible”.

While back2naturegirl penned: “Ooooh I do love a nonchalant lean against a bale of hay! Dreamy!” (sic)

In the second snap, Lucy posed with chef Chris Baber as he gushed over their time together in the Midlands.

He commented on her post: “Best time ever Lucy.”

Last month, Lucy addressed becoming part of a presenting duo for the first time in a candid social media post.

The ITV star has been working with M&S chef Chris Baber to host a series of programmes, which shine a light on British farmers, growers and producers.

Fresh Market is a partnership between Marks and Spencer and ITV.

After wrapping filming last month, Lucy said it had been “a blast”, despite it being a very different role for her.

Alongside a picture of the presenting duo posing for a photo in the sunshine, she wrote: “Filming the last 6 months with @chrisbaber – and it’s been brilliant.”

Going into more details, she added: “I’ve only ever presented solo – but love being part of a duo!!” she gushed, before confirming her return to ITV.
