Lily Collins has just announced her new series Emily In Paris is coming to Netflix!
The 31-year-old actress stars in and executive produces the series, created by Sex and the City and Younger creator Darren Star.
“Here we go!! Keeping this secret has been so hard but I’m beyond thrilled to finally announce @emilyinparis officially launches October 2, only on @netflix! I hope you guys fall in love with this story, the character and the city just like I did. Can’t. F*cking. Wait. Pardon my French…” she shared on Instagram, along with the series poster.
“If you thought that poster was exciting, I have something else for you… Here’s a first look at @emilyinparis! Brb, just over here screaming! October 2 on @netflix…” Lily added with another post of the teaser video.
Here’s a synopsis: Emily, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.
Lily announced the series back in April 2019, which was originally supposed to air on Paramount Network. She was seen filming the show in amazing outfits throughout Paris last year. See some of the photos here!
