France’s drastic decision to recall its ambassadors to the United States and Australia marks one of the gravest rifts among allies in living memory. And…
Lily Collins and her fiancé, Charlie McDowell, got married on September 4, People reports. She shared the news on Instagram (and so did he), giving her followers a look at her long, lace Ralph Lauren gown gown and the ceremony's beautiful Colorado setting. The couple got engaged last fall. Harper's Bazaar posted images of the ceremony, including a close-up of Collins's lace cape, which included a hood.
"I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife," Collins wrote beside her wedding announcement photo. "On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…"
McDowell's caption for the shots, which were all taken by Cedar & Pines Photography, was slightly different, but shared the same happy sentiment.
"I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I've ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins," he wrote. Collins was quick to comment, adding, "I'm so excited to be your WIFEY."
McDowell is the son of actors Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. Collins made the relationship Instagram official back in August 2019, with a sweet snapshot of the couple in France, where she was busy filming Emily in Paris. The two managed to keep their relationship out of the headlines thanks to the coronavirus pandemic and its lockdowns, saying that the situation wasn't ideal, but made for an easy way for the two of them to get to know each other.
"Eight months of being together in quarantine has definitely felt like the most incredible way of getting to know someone," she told Extra.
