Lewis Burton tells Caroline Flack 'I love you' in Valentine's Day message

Lewis Burton has reached out to his girlfriend Caroline Flack on Instagram by sending her a sweet Valentine’s Day message.

The 27-year-old has been openly supportive of Caroline ever since she was arrested on suspicion of assault back in December 2019, often sharing pictures of her on his Instagram story.

And the former tennis pro took the opportunity to send a Valentine’s Day message to the former Love Island host despite Caroline being banned from contacting Lewis as part of her bail.

Taking to his Instagram story, Lewis shared a picture of the couple out at dinner with the caption ‘Happy Valentine’s love you’ with a heart and a kiss emoji.

The 40-year-old is currently on bail and awaiting trial to begin on 4 March, after she pleaded not guilty to assaulting Lewis.

She is accused of hitting Lewis over the head with a lamp, with Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court hearing a 999 call in which Burton allegedly said: ‘She tried to kill me, mate.’

However, Lewis has denied he was hit with a lamp, writing on his Instagram story after her court hearing: ‘It’s heartbreaking I can’t see my girlfriend over Christmas. What I witnessed today was horrible.

‘She did not hit me with a lamp… Arguments do happen every day in every relationship. Gutted I am not allowed to protect her right now.’

The court also heard that Burton would not be supporting the prosecution at trial.
