Leigh-Anne Pinnock emotional over ‘life changes’ as she hits music studio for solo track

Former Little Mix band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock admitted to feeling emotional as she hit the recording studio ahead of releasing her first solo music.

Leigh-Anne is arguably most well known for her time in Little Mix, which was put together on X Factor by judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa.

The band spent over ten years together, earning countless number ones, before separating for a hiatus following Jesy Nelson’s exit.

At the time of the departure, the group was comprised of Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards.

After spending the holidays with her partner Andre Gray and their twins, the 31 year old songstress took to Instagram to share some exciting news.

In the caption, she penned: “It's been a weird couple of weeks, getting used to certain life changes. Emotions flying.. but I'm excited for the year ahead… we been cooking up a storm.”

Alongside the caption, she shared several pictures of herself in the studio dressed in an all-grey outfit comprised of flared jeans and a super baggy wool jumper.

The second shot shows the mum-of-two giving a cheeky pout in front of the microphone after earlier signing with Warner Records, which launched the careers of Madonna and Prince.

They currently represent the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Cher, David Guetta, and Liam Gallagher.

Fans flocked to the comments and seemed as just excited about the new music as Leigh-Anne herself.

One person gushed: “Please Leigh-Anne we can’t wait any longer.”

“Ur coming and no one is ready,” wrote another, as a third added: “THE LEGIONS ARE SCREAMING.”

News of Leigh-Anne signing to Warner broke almost a year ago when a source told The Sun: “A number of labels were keen to bag Leigh-Anne but Warner seemed the best fit.

“She’s already been in the studio working on tracks for months.

“Leigh-Anne unequivocally loves Little Mix and always will, but the truth is she’s been ready to branch out on her own for some time.”

This comes after the High Wycombe-born singer reportedly purchased an old factory in the hopes of transforming it into 48 flats.

According to The Mirror, Leigh-Anne and Andre purchased Wolverhampton’s old Eagle Works through their property firm G&A Organisations Ltd.

The project is part of a larger business venture, with the couple also purchasing properties in Bridgnorth and Shropshire, which they reportedly hope to list on Airbnb.
