The 39 year old opened up on her thoughts on the virus, which made her husband Kanye West ill back in February, in a new interview.
But fans of the reality star were soon to slam her after she admitted she saw the deadly bug as a "reset" for the world.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim said: "I'm the type of person that respects the process, that respects what’s going on in the world.

"Maybe our planet needed a break. Maybe we all needed a break. Maybe this was the reset? I try to look at it that way," she continued to Grazia magazine.
Unimpressed social media users flocked to Twitter to discuss her beliefs, with one writing: "I very much doubt that those who have lost loved ones to Covid19, not even being able to be with them when they died, would see it the same way. Not exactly a break for them is it?"
A second added: "The planet needs a break from the self-loving Kardashian clan. Not aware that KK has a degree in any medical discipline."

During the interview, Kim could be seen wearing a runched yellow turtleneck with her long raven hair styled up into a single braid as floods of tears streamed down her face.
She was shown attempting to stop the tears as she told the 73 year old host: "I wonder why I'm crying? I've talked about this before."
Trying to comfort her, David was then heard saying: "No, no, no, no, no, no. We alright?" before the clip cut to other interviews with high-profile stars.
