A month after Khloé Kardashian and alleged cheater Tristan Thompson welcomed their daughter True, the new mom is back at the gym.
“Today is the first day that I have been allowed to work out with my trainer and I’m super excited,” the “Revenge Body” star said Thursday on Snapchat. “I had my first workout. I’m exhausted, but if feels so good to finally sweat again and feel like that I’m evolving and doing something progressive for my body and my mind.”
While the 33-year-old is ready to shape up, she’s found it to be “a struggle getting back into the groove of working out.”
“Mentally I’m strong, but physically it’s just not the same,” she said. “My body is not doing what I feel like my mind is telling it to do so that’s a struggle, but it’s only day one. I need to motivate myself.”
Along with finding her personal motivation, Kardashian is learning how to find balance between caring for herself and baby True.
“It’s also a struggle trying to fit in working out between feedings,” she said. “No two days are the same. You know, True is so great but still I can’t predict if she’s going to sleep for the full two hours or if she’s hungry.”
Earlier this week, the reality star said she was counting down the days until she could start pumping iron again.
Just days before True’s birth, Kardashian and Cavaliers star Thompson, 27, made headlines after he was busted for allegedly cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend. While the Kardashian clan strongly objected to the pair staying together, Page Six reported that Khloé will remain with the NBA player and is determined to make things work.
“Khloé has stuck with Tristan, because she loves him,” a source recently told Page Six. “She has stuck with him over the objections of her mom and her sisters, who begged her to bring the baby back to LA and live with the family. They are worried about Khloé — but she insists she’s putting their baby first, and she wants to stay a family.”
