Katie Price is set to begin treatment at the Priory after pleading guilty to drink driving.

The 43 year old plead guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and driving while unfit to drive through drink at Crawley Magistrates Court on Wednesday 29 September.

Price's sentencing has been deferred until December 15 to allow her to have treatment at The Priory following her car crash on Tuesday Morning.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton at Crawley Magistrate’s Court told her she was free to go but warned her against driving in the interim.

Ms Hutton said: "We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified."

Price was given the condition that her sentencing would be deferred on the condition she would receive treatment at The Piory and not commit any further offences.

She was also instructed to engage with the probation service so a report could be prepared.

Ms Hutton added: "On that basis, Ms Price, you are free to go and good luck at The Priory."

It comes as Katie plead guilty to drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance following a crash near her home in Sussex on Tuesday.

She was arrested on Tuesday following a crash near her home in West Sussex and was taken to hospital an ambulance.

Price is understood to be banned from driving and wasn't due to get her licence back until the end of the year.

At the time of the accident, a Sussex Police spokeswoman told OK!: "Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the B2135 near Partridge Green around 6.20am on Tuesday (September 28).

After news of the model's arrest her family shared a public statement saying they were "concerned about Kate's wellbeing and overall mental health".

It added: "Today out worst fears nearly came true. As a family we have been and will continue to help Kate get the help she needs.

"We hope that she will realise that she cannot battle her issues alone. We would kindly ask that the media and wider public give Kate the time and space she needs to seek the necessary treatment, so that she can hopefully return to the Kate we know and love as a mother, daughter and sister."
