‘Anyone saying all their staff are on minimum wage in the garment industry is a fraud:’ ‘Sweatshop’ owner of Boohoo factory confesses he pays…
Jhene Aiko has filed a lawsuit against former manager Joshua Williams for reportedly falsely acting as her booking agent while she was being represented by ICM. The new lawsuit comes after he sued her for allegedly holding him out of expenses that she was supposed to pay back earlier this year.
According to The Blast, Aiko filed documents against Williams accusing him of acting as if they’re still working together for his own personal gain. She claims Williams has been pretending to be her booking agency despite the fact that she’s represented by talent agency ICM.
In the documents filed, she accused Williams of putting her face on his website and using her image to “raise the status and representation” of his entertainment operations. She also said that Williams actions had a negative impact on her reputation and made her look like she was directly involved in breaching her contract ICM.
