Jesy Nelson’s boyfriend Sean Sagar has returned to his Instagram page after it was revealed his girlfriend is taking an ‘extended break’ from Little Mix.
Management for the girl band confirmed on Tuesday that Jesy would be temporarily stepping back from the band for a ‘private medical reason’.
It comes amid claims that the girls are ‘secretly planning’ to launch solo careers after Jesy’s break was revealed, following missed appearances hosting the MTV EMAs and an appearance on the finale her band’s show, The Search.

A day after the news was shared on social media, Sean took to his Instagram page to support his brother Nick ahead of the launch of his new film, The Princess Switch 2.
Sean shared the trailer for the film on his Stories, alongside the words ‘Princess Switch 2 out on Netflix tomorrow’ and ‘Tis the Season.’
Nick plays Kevin in the film alongside Vanessa Hudgens, who stars as both Stacy De Novo and Duchess of Montenaro in the film franchise.

Sean’s older brother previously moved to Los Angeles from London to kickstart his acting career away from the UK.
While Sean supported his brother, he is yet to mention Jesy after the announcement about her Little Mix hiatus was revealed.
He lasted posted a picture of Jesy on October 5, where the couple looked completely loved-up as she sat on his knee for the sweet snap.
Sean captioned the image: ‘The reason for my happiness.’

Jesy and Sean were first linked earlier this year following Jesy’s split from he ex-boyfriend and former Love Island star Chris Hughes.
Earlier on Wednesday Jesy’s band mate Jade posted a cryptic message about ‘pain’ after it was revealed she is taking an ‘extended break’ from the band.
Taking to her Instagram Story in a now-deleted post, Jade, 27, shared a handwritten quote from her Rizzle Kicks boyfriend Jordan Stephens, 28, in the wake of claims the chart-topping band will pursue solo careers in 2021.

A representative for the band said on Tuesday evening: ‘Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons.

Since then, heartbroken Little Mix fans have flooded social media with messages of support for Jesy, voicing their concern for her well-being.
A large portion of Twitter users batted away any suggestions that the girls are pegged to break-up, while others branded Jesy ‘an inspiration’.
Fans of the group wrote messages to Jesy, including: ‘I love you Jesy and I’m really hoping you’re taking all the time you need to come back to us with your smile….
‘We will be sure that you return with nothing but love and happiness for you. See you soon… Jesy is strong Jesy is adorable Jesy is beautiful Jesy is perfect But little mix isn’t little mix without jesy jesy you have inspired a lot of people including me…’

Soon after the news about Jesy broke it was claimed that Little Mix are planning to go solo next year.
Perrie Edwards, 27, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, and Jade Thirlwall are reportedly set to launch solo careers next year at the end of their existing record deal.
They are said to have been secretly meeting with industry bosses as well as new managers and agents while Jesy also plans to kick start a solo career when she is feeling better.

The Sun reports that Perrie and Jade are both looking at solo music projects while Leigh-Anne is eyeing up TV opportunities.
A source said: ‘The girls have been open and honest with each other, and with their current management team.
‘They have started discussions with some prospective managers and agents about what their solo careers might look like.
‘Some of the girls might end up taking on solo projects with their current management team too. But this isn’t about ending the band, it’s about looking to the future.’

The source added that the group still have a tour to complete next April and will see it through, even if it is delayed due to Covid-19.

They also claimed there is no ‘bad blood’ between the group and they are all supportive of each other’s wishes to go solo.
