Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan, 43, has been branded “a transformed man” after his wife Ola Jordan, 38, shaved his head live on Loose Women today. It comes after the star admitted his hair had become so long as he decided to grow it out due to a “superstition” about his late dad Allan.
Allan sadly died last month from brain cancer, and James explained he was scared to make any changes to his appearance while his beloved dad was still alive and battling the disease.
James decided to finally undergo the transformation to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, as Allan was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 after suffering from several strokes.
He told the panel: “It became a bit of a superstition that I kept my hair long all the time that he was alive and doing well.
“Obviously with lockdown at the beginning I wasn’t able to get my hair cut and then for some reason, I’m not normally superstitious, I didn’t want to cut my hair because I felt if I did, something bad was going to happen.

“And now I want to use it as a positive to hopefully raise awareness to brain tumours and the charity.”
James and Ola filmed the process in their kitchen this afternoon, as viewers were shown the latter shaving off her other half’s mane.
After the break, the Loose Women panellists returned to their video call with the couple to witness the results of James’ new look.
Host Kaye Adams praised Ola for her handiwork and suggested she could venture into a hairdressing career.
“A transformed man!” she exclaimed, as she stared at James in awe.
When quizzed on what his one-year-old daughter Ella thought about his hair, James admitted: “She has done a runner!
“I don’t know if that is good or not, she might not recognise me. She is a bit confused.”
Fans took to Twitter to praise James for his charitable act.
