Holly Willoughby was subject to cruel criticism on Thursday evening when she enjoyed a night out while watching The Streets in Brixton.
The mother-of-three, 37, shared a host of snaps from her night out with frontman Mike Skinner and pal Nicole Appleton however the Instagram images were met with ‘mum-shaming’ comments as she was blasted for being away from her kids.
The star, who has sons Harry, eight, Chester, three, and daughter Belle, seven, with husband Dan Baldwin, divided followers as unkind critics insisted her partying was ‘sad’ while others staunchly defended Holly and her right to ‘have a night off’.

Holly, who recently admitted that her and Mike Skinner’s school age children have a crush on one another, was letting her hair down at the concert, where she was joined by her pal Nicole and was feeling snap happy throughout the evening.
The TV presenter wore a ‘Bad girls go backstage’ T-shirt as she shared pictures with BFF Nicole from the O2 Brixton Academy, yet regrettably some of her fans opted to find the negative in the This Morning host’s night off.
Critics took to the comments section to pen: ‘works hard certainly plays hard. Missing out on time with her kids that’s sad they must miss her no replacement for mom…

Mike returned the favour, calling Holly ‘one of his favourite people’ in a shot with Jaykae.
Holly recently explained her unlikely connection with Blinded By The Lights hitmaker Mike.
Speaking on Red Stripe presents: This Feeling TV in December, Holly let slip that Belle has ‘a bit of a thing’ for Mike’s young son George (both aged five).
‘Mike’s kids are the same age as mine,’ she explained of their unexpected link. ‘Belle actually has a bit of a thing for Georgie Skinner, as does Georgie for her.’

Holly went on to say that she hoped their children would be able to hang out at a Streets gig sometime soon.
‘I’m going to take the kids along,’ she said of the gig. ‘Despite how irresponsible I know it seems to take them to a Streets gig.
Musician Mike and his wife Claire Le Marquand are also parents to daughter Amelia, who is the same age as Holly’s eldest child.

Squeaky-clean TV presenter Holly has a long and rarely documented history with English rapper Mike.
In 2006, at the height of Skinner’s fame, Holly appeared in the music video for When You Wasn’t Famous as a TV interviewer.
Holly explained: ‘I love The Streets – Mikey [Skinner] is a genius! I actually appeared in the music video for When You Wasn’t Famous.’
Of the video, she added: ‘The song is about waking up next to somebody, then seeing them on Saturday morning TV looking all squeaky and clean – but we kind of know what they got up to the night before.’
