Gogglebox star looks very different with moustache as he celebrates birthday with husband

Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig just sent fans into an absolute frenzy after debuting his striking new look on social media this bank holiday weekend.

It comes as the TV favourite was out celebrating his birthday with his husband and fellow co-star, Stephen Webb, who snapped a pic of his hubby enjoying a cocktail.

Dressed in a blue and red abstract shirt, it was Daniel’s newly acquired facial hair that really took fans by surprise as he donned a thick moustache. Which, by the way, looked perfectly groomed.

But considering both Daniel and Stephen are experienced hairdressers, you wouldn’t expect anything less, right?

Usually, Gogglebox viewers are used to seeing Daniel don a slight stubble all round on the sofa next to Stephen, so naturally, they were slightly shocked upon seeing the rest of his facial hair missing.

The new look seemed to have gone down a treat, as Daniel smiled for the cameras with a drink in hand as he perused a menu while sitting in a restaurant.

“Happy birthday to me again [laughing face emoji]” the TV star captioned the shot, suggesting that he and Stephen have been longing out the celebratory drinks and evenings out.

Daniel also posted a smouldering selfie the same evening, and showed off his fresh tash up close.

Brushing his hands through his thick, styled hair, the Gogglebox star looked glowing and healthy, as he complimented his flamboyant outfit with a beaded necklace and of course, his wedding ring.

The celeb couple are no strangers to getting dressed up for big events, though. Earlier this month, Stephen and Daniel scrubbed up well as they attended a very formal event at Buckingham Palace.

The pair were invited to one of the Palace’s prestigious garden parties, where they attended along with other high profile guests to celebrate and honour The Not Forgotten Charity – an organisation that restores “dignity, confidence and independence to veterans.”

Both took to their Instagram grids to share the special moment – where they donned their best suits and formal attire – as they smiled for the cameras.

“An absolute honour to meet some of the veterans of WWll today at #buckinghampalace,” Stephen captioned a post he shared of him, Daniel and a veteran he labelled a “hero.”

His husband also expressed their gratitude on his social media account, captioning a photo compilation video: “Another great garden party thanks @the.not.forgotten for our invite. We met some truly amazing people.”
