Georgia Kousoulou has revealed that being a mum to her three month old son Brody is "magical" but "hard" as she takes aim at mummy shamers.

The 30 year old gave birth to her and Tommy Mallet's first child together in May and has previously spoken candidly about how she "gets upset" trying to be the "perfect" mum.

She has now spoken exclusively to OK! online about the pressure she feels ahead of her and 29 year old Tommy's own spin-off show, Baby Steps, which airs next month.

The Only Way Is Essex star admitted: "Parenthood is so amazing, it's so magical but it is so hard. Whoever tells you it's easy is lying.

"Mine and Tommy's relationship could have gone one of two ways and I'm so glad we're down the route where we're a team.

"We always have been a team but you hear stories of the stress separating you but it's brought us so much closer. I wouldn't have been able to get those first few weeks without him."

Discussing how she gets negative comments from other parents online, Georgia added: "I think being in the public eye probably doesn't help.

"You put up one picture and people just want to tell you you're doing wrong and jump down your throat all the time.

"I don't need that pressure, no woman does. I'm learning to trust myself and not listen to anybody else."

Georgia went on to share how Tommy has helped her stop listening to the negative posts, saying: "Tommy doesn't listen to anyone, he doesn't care what anybody thinks.

"I'm a bit hormonal still, sometimes I'll read the odd comment and it just depends on what mood I'm in that day.

"I probably take it more to heart because I've grown him but I know some of these people just like to talk for the sake of it so I try not to take too much notice.

"He just says to me, 'You know you're such a good mum, why are you even reading them?' and I know it's so true."

She also told how she "loved" being pregnant during the pandemic, saying: "I loved being pregnant and I love being at home, I love eating, so I didn't mind.

"The only concern was, obviously, the health side of it and I was scared for the baby but that was my only issue with being pregnant in lockdown.

"A lot of my friends didn't see me pregnant, I literally announced the pregnancy and then had the baby, nobody saw me in between.

"I have missed out on a few things but I was safe, the baby was safe, Tommy was safe, that's all that mattered."

Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps starts 1 September at 9pm on ITVBe.
