Final Resting Place: Clark Gable’s Grandson's Funeral & Burial Plans Revealed

Clark Gable’s grandson, Clark III, will not be buried alongside the legendary actor but instead will be laid to rest in Provo, Utah, next to his other set of grandparents, his sister Kayley Gable told exclusively.

“The funeral is taking place on March 9 at 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time at Nelson Family Memorial in Provo, Utah,” Kayley, 32, revealed to Radar.

“Clark will be buried next to my grandmother and grandfather on my mother’s side. My grandfather was basically our father while we were growing up and we felt that Clark would want to be next to him.”

She detailed the tragedy behind planning her brother’s final resting place. “I had to go and pick out his casket yesterday and it was just horrible. I still cannot comprehend that he is gone!”

As Radar previously reported, Clark III was found dead at the age of 30 by his child’s mother, Summer, on February 22 at their home in Dallas, Texas.

Following his death, Kayley got into a nasty fight with their father, John Gable, 57, after asking him to contribute to the cost of the expensive funeral.

“I said, ‘Dad, I need some help for the funeral costs’…and he texted me that he wants nothing to do with anything. He doesn’t want any contact with me,” a devastated Kayley told Radar earlier this week, adding that their father would not allow his son to be buried at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, where their legendary grandfather was buried in 1960.

“I will never talk to my father again for what he did to Clark. Our grandfather is rolling in his grave over this,” Kayley said.

According to the Dallas County Medical Examiner, his initial cause of death remains undetermined pending the toxicology report.
