Emma Kenney is ready to reprise her role as Harris Conner-Healy on “The Conners,” the new “Roseanne” spinoff set to premiere in October.

“The Conners” brings back the entire cast of “Roseanne” except the titular character who was played by Roseanne Barr. She was fired after she penned a racist tweet that compared former government official Valerie Jarrett to an ape. Kenney told the magazine that getting back into the swing of things wasn’t hard for the cast despite the obvious absence.

At the end of August, ABC released the first photo of the cast sitting down for a table read following Barr’s firing. John Goodman also hinted at the fate of Barr’s character.
“It’s an unknown,” he said. “I guess [Dan]’ll be mopey and sad because his wife’s dead.”
