Dressed down Jo O’Meara runs errands in cheetah print tracksuit ahead of S Club 7 reunion

S Club 7 star Jo O'Meara looked barely recognisable as she was spotted doing an errands run out and about near her home in Romford, Essex.

The former pop singer is gearing up for a special reunion with the band, which shot to fame in the late 90s and early 2000s with hits like Bring it All Back, Reach and Don't Stop Movin'.

But the 43 year old's look and style nowadays is worlds away from during the height of the group's fame.

Wearing a big white puffa jacket to shield from the winter cold snap, Jo opted for a jazzy cheetah print tracksuit underneath.

Covered in a red and pink floral design over the top, the star kept her sleeves over her hands which showed her matching look.

Joined by a friend in a matching white jacket, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, who starred on the show alongside the late Jade Goody in 2007, went for a casual stroll with her dog in tow.

Her blonde locks were swept up into a messy bun and she tied it with a black velvet scrunchie to keep her tresses out of the way.

Jo then finished off her outfit choice with a pair of brown sheepskin-style boots and wore a pair of simple glasses for the outing.

It comes as S Club 7, which also spawned a youngsters' band spin-off of the original and a TV show, are reportedly set to reunite.

The band, which also consisted of Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Hannah Spearritt and Bradley McIntosh, are said to be embarking on a massive tour 25 years after their first single was released.

The group split up in 2003 after taking over the pop charts with four number one singles.

The Never Had A Dream Come True hitmakers are said to have all agreed to a comeback organised by big record label boss Simon Fuller.

Simon was famously the Spice Girls' manager in the 90s, but when they sacked him, the music mogul quickly moved on to finding his next big thing in the industry.

He then put S Club 7 together in 1998 – the only major seven-person band around at the time.

Daily Mail has claimed that Simon called all of the former members individually so he could convince them to return for the big project, and told them a reunion would only work if all seven singers agreed to do it.

The comeback is reported to include a tour this summer, but schedules could change after Jo, who recently admitted her fears at never being able to dance on stage again, suffered a painful back injury.

The star revealed she needed to go under the knife four four surgeries after waking up with excruciating pain in her back – which was later shown she needed to have part of a disc removed.

Jo also told her fans that the pain was so intense it felt like she'd been shot with a bullet at the time.

Following the operations, Jo continues to undergo months of physiotherapy and was also left with permanent damage to one of her legs.

While plans may be shuffled around, a source told the publication the band's return could be a massive event this year.

"Simon Fuller saw the value in this, S Club 7 had a huge following of all ages who he thinks will want to go and see them for nostalgia reasons," they said.

"Their songs were so upbeat and fun, it is a massive commercial opportunity for them all, particularly Simon," the source added.
