Diddy Provides COVID Relief To Struggling Miami Families

Sean “Diddy” Combs has provided help to Miami residents who are struggling amid the coronavirus crisis.

At an event at the House of Wings in the city’s Overton neighborhood on Tuesday, December 29, the rapper announced that he is giving a grant to a local organization that will help 175 families in the area to pay rent during the pandemic.

He also handed out $50 Publix supermarket gift cards and essentials to families at the event.

According to Page Six, the charity was a collaborative effort between Diddy’s non-profit Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success (T.E.E.S.), Michael Gardner and Headliner Market Group, as well as Miami Dade County Commissioner Keon Hardemon.

Diddy is known for his charity. In April, he ad hosted “the world’s biggest dance-a-thon” to raise money for healthcare workers in underserved communities around the country.

The fundraiser featured appearances by Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Shaq, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Kelly Rowland, Maluma and more.
