The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards returned to Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Monday, and Camila Cabello took the night’s biggest honors – artist of the year and video of the year for “Havana.”
“Havana,” which features rapper Young Thug, attracted nearly 668 million views on YouTube.
In video of the year category, other nominees were Ariana Grande – “No Tears Left to Cry”, Bruno Mars ft. Cardi B – “Finesse (Remix)”, The Carters – “APES**T”, Childish Gambino – “This Is America”, and Drake – “God’s Plan.”
For the artist of the year award, Cabello was up against Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Drake and Post Malone.
After accepting the award for Video of the Year from Madonna, she dedicated it to the pop queen.
She was nominated for a total of five awards.
