Ant McPartlin has been spotted heading home to recuperate following his month long stint in rehab.
The TV star cut a casual figure, dressed head to toe in black and wearing a baseball cap on his head, as he made his arrival after being signed off by doctors at the private clinic where he sought treatment for alcoholism following his drink-drive shame last month.
Ant, 42, was joined by a friend, and his beloved dog Hurley, as the trio made their way inside his rented property in Chiswick, west London where Ant will continue his recovery.
The presenter had noticeably shaved off the greying beard he had sported the last time he was seen in public – standing outside Wimbledon Magistrates Court apologising to fans after his sentencing.
Ant had been allowed temporary relieve from his rehabilitation centre for the court appearance, which had already been put back to allow him to continue treatment.
After his Mini collided with two other cars back in March, Ant whisked himself straight off to seek professional help.
He was later found to be twice over the legal limit during the crash, which left a young girl needing hospital treatment.
After being handed a 20 month driving ban and £86,000 fine – the equivalent of three and a half days of his average weekly wage – Ant issued a grovelling apology to those he’d ‘let her down.”
Speaking to the media from the court steps he said: "I’m truly sorry for what happened. Higher standards are expected of me," he told the crowd.
"I let myself down, I let a lot of people down, for that I’m truly sorry. I’d like to apologise to everyone involved in the crash and I’m just thankful no-one was seriously hurt."
Pictures have since e merged of the TV star out of rehab and enjoying a walk with his dog Hurley and a female pal.
The snaps, taken last week, show Ant looking drastically different to the last time he was pictured in public.
Ant’s rep told Mirror Online that while the Britain’s Got Talent star might be back out just four weeks after going into rehab, "Ant remains in treatment".
