Angelina Jolie is the queen of the black red carpet gown, as evidenced by that leg-exposing Oscars dress and her look at Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premiere.
But this isn’t some one-trick style pony we’re talking about here.
The 44-year-old was giving us all kinds of Strictly Come Dancing glam as she wore a fringed silver flapper dress to the Japan premiere of her Disney sequel.
Angelina’s halter neck dress featured rows of metallic fringe that fell to her knee, while a lighter layer of fringe then danced around her calves.
How she didn’t just stand there shimmying, we don’t know.
Angelina paired the showstopping dress with metallic stilettos and wore her hair down, and the Oscar winner couldn’t stop flashing that mega-watt smile on the red carpet.
Although that may have had less to do with her look, and more to do with the fact she had reunited with her son Maddox.
Two months after dropping the 18-year-old off to university in South Korea, Angelina was pictured with her eldest child in Tokyo at the Maleficent 2 premiere.
Maddox flew from Seoul to hang out with his mum and his sister Zahara, 14 – because don’t all family hangs occur in front of the world’s press?
The teenager, who is studying biochemistry at Yonsei University, looked slick in black jeans, a t-shirt and a blazer, while his little sister wore a black halter dress with a lace skirt.
Speaking about Maddox’s transition to university, Angelina told Entertainment Tonight: ‘‘I just sent one off… I’m so proud of him.
‘I’m so excited, I feel like my world expands as their world expands. I learn so much from them and I love this stage.’
The mother-of-six has had the full support of her family on the Maleficent 2 press trail, with Zahara, Pax, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne all accompanying Ange to the Los Angeles premiere earlier this week.
Angelina adopted Maddox from Cambodia when he was seven months old; she started the process with then-husband Billy Bob Thornton but adopted him alone.
The actress later adopted Zahara aged six months from Ethiopia, with her then-partner Brad Pitt adopting both children later.
Brangelina then welcomed daughter Shiloh in 2006, before Angelina adopted Pax, three, as a single parent due to Vietnamese adoption regulations not allowing unmarried couples to adopt.
Angelina gave birth to her and Brad’s twins in 2008, and although the two actors married in 2014, they separated two years later.
