The 49-year-old actress turned ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge fought back after more than 200 complaints to Ofcom about her plunging dress this week. She admitted that she felt “insulted” that people thought she had “huge saucepan nipples”. Holden also quipped that her breasts needed their own representation and an episode on ‘Piers Morgan’s Life Stories’ in comments to the Daily Mail. This isn’t the first time the ITV star’s outfits have hit the headlines and after one she took a fierce swipe at viewers, where she claimed she would disregard their complaints.
The furore over another of Holden’s dresses came last year after Ofcom received 663 because her outfit had a revealing split down its centre.
She shrugged off the public’s complaints and told The Sun: “It’s been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will NOT be covered up.
“That dress was hysterical — it was Julien Macdonald. I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together.
“But, look, I’m from a small-chest family, plus you know I’m 48 years old.”
In a self-deprecating moment, the star insisted that instead of talking about her cleavage they should focus on Alesha Dixon’s instead.
She said: “Alesha’s boobs are much better than mine. Talk about hers!”
Holden’s dress received a huge backlash, which at 663 was nearly four times more complaints than Ofcom received for Russell Brand comments on ‘Comic Relief’.
During that 2017 BBC show, the comedian swore before 9PM and made a number of crude language and sexual references.
In response to the recent backlash over Holden’s low-cut dress, she admitted she was baffled by the complaints.
She told the Daily Mail: “I can see what people think, it had a like an underwire, you know when you have an underwire bikini or bra, the end of it it’s like an upside down U isn’t it. The end of it dug in.”
Holden admitted that she regularly consulted the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ team about her outfits before shows.

She went on to quip: “I am seriously thinking my girls need separate representation to me, because they are known on their own.
“They don’t need me, they’re going to go off and do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on their own next year!”
Tonight she’s due to appear on screens again for the show’s semi-final and has been pictured in a sheer black lace bustier.
With a picture that teased her outfit, she wrote: “I’m wearing a dress that goes down to the end of my arms and up to the top of my neck!”
She poked fun at the recent complaints when she said that she hoped viewers would focus on the performances and “not on my breasts”.
Holden added: “Although you very clearly see them as obviously it’s a tight-fitting dress!”
