Hamilton police have arrested a man who allegedly threatened staff at the Tim Horton’s counter at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Officers were called to the main lobby of St. Joe’s Charlton campus just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after the man claimed that he had a gun.
Hospital officials say the individual was quickly apprehended by security and turned over to police, and is now in custody.
No weapon was recovered, and the name of the man has not been released.
