The 11-year-old girl has been missing from her home since Monday evening.
Police desperately searching for Hannah Yamanaka are “very concerned for her welfare”.
The youngster was last seen on Monday at around 8.15am in Springfield, Chelmsford.
She is described as being fair skinned, 5ft tall, slim and with shoulder length hair.
Essex Police’s Facebook post in a desperate bid for information has been shared more than 3,500 times in just two hours.
Essex Police said in a statement that they are “very concerned for her welfare and need to make sure she’s OK”.
Anyone who has seen Hannah, or has any information about her whereabouts, is asked to call Essex Police on 101, quoting incident 1334 of March 25.
