Michelle Keegan looks tense as she films row scenes from her new show Brassic

The 31-year-old showed off her acting prowess as she was spotted shooting what looked like a row with co-star Joe Gilgun.

She could be seen pointing her finger in anger as she stood in a doorway, while wearing a zebra print dress with a jacket to keep her warm.

The former Corrie star has been shooting the Sky drama for the past few months in and around Manchester.

The show follows the story of Vinnie, played by Joe, who suffers from bipolar disorder, and his best pal Dylan, played by Ripper Street actor Damien Maloney.

Michelle plays Dylan’s girlfriend, Erin, – a mum to a young son Tyler – who thinks she’s got the perfect family unit.

But their romance threatens being torn apart, as he is forced to decide between her or his unruly mates.

Her return to set came after she enjoyed being briefly reunited with her husband Mark Wright this evening.

The couple, who are often apart as their hectic careers continue to have them living thousands of miles apart, hit the town to celebrate Mark’s brother Josh’s birthday.

Sources told The Sun Online that the EXTRA presenter, 31, took time out from his busy schedule to spend time with his parents Carol and Mark Sr, before dashing to Manchester to see Michelle on the set of her new show Brassic.

A source said: "Mark flew in from LA and was in Essex to see his parents for just 24 hours before flying up to Manchester where Michelle's filming. He couldn't wait to be reunited with her."

The couple then travelled 44 miles to Leeds and celebrated his brother Josh's birthday with all the family.

The source added: "They went out to his brother's birthday in Leeds last night. They spend every second they can together when they're not working."
