Chris Evans tells Jason Donovan he's in wife Natasha's top three crushes along with Lenny Kravitz and Phil Schofield, on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show

RADIO host Chris Evans has admitted he is nervous about taking wife Natasha to see Jason Donovan on stage – as he is in her top three celebrity crushes.

Chris, 53, made the confession during his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show after inviting Australian singer Jason on to talk about his latest theatre role.

Jason is returning to the London Palladium to appear in the re-worked Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

But Chris has joked there could be "parting of the ways" between himself and Natasha – who he has four children with – once she sees Jason in action.

Chris said: "Now I'm going to take my wife, but I'm not sure whether that's a wise thing or not a wise thing.

"Between you [Jason], Phillip Schofield and Lenny Kravitz, there could be a parting of the ways."

Laughing, Jason asked: "Where is the parallel in that?!"

Chris replied: "Because she adores all three of you. You're her top three.

"There's you, there's Pip Schofield and there's Kravitz. Kravitz is number one."

Agreeing, Jason said: "Kravitz is pretty, pretty sexy. He's pretty cool."

Jason first appeared in the West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1991.

The former Neighbours heartthrob took the lead role of Joseph and continued to play the part until early 1992.

Coincidentally, Phillip Schofield – Natasha' fellow crush – took over the part when he left.

Jason is now returning to the iconic musical when it hits the West End again this summer, however he will be playing the part of Pharoah.

Despite having been on stage for nearly all of the musical the first time around, Jason admitted this time his role is only eight minutes long and that he isn't even on until after the interval.

Finding this amusing, Chris joked: "Do you know what I would do? I would go out for dinner with my mates and say, 'I've just got to nip out'.

"I'd then come back and say, 'You'll never guess what I've just done?!'"
