What’s better: Winning a Grammy or hearing your daughter say “mama” for the first time?
Cardi B’s Sunday night was full of firsts. The 26-year-old became the first woman to win a Grammy for best rap album for “Invasion of Privacy.” She then went home and was able to hear her 7-month-old daughter say “mama” for the first time.
The “I Like It” artist posted a short and sweet video of Kulture sitting in a walker and saying “mama” after some coaxing.” As Cardi is not keen on showing her daughter off, she covered Kulture’s face with a big heart-eye emoji.
“After a week of only saying papa ! She saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture ! We love you,” Cardi wrote to Instagram.

The rapper had also given a shout-out to her daughter during her Grammys acceptance speech.
“I want to thank my daughter… I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter,” said a tearful Cardi with Kulture’s dad, Offset, by her side. “When I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete. We was like, ‘We have to get this album done so I can shoot these videos while I’m still not showing.’ And it was very long nights.”
