Nicole Kidman is notoriously private when it comes to her two children with Tom Cruise, but now the actress finally opened up about her relationship with Bella and Connor Cruise.
“I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is,” she told Who in a recent interview.
And while Kidman, 51, is not a Scientologist herself, she supports Bella, 25, and Connor, 23, as they continue to practice the religion.
“They are adults,” she told the publication. “They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.”
“I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family – I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love,” she added.
Bella previously shut down rumors that she was estranged from her parents in 2016, while Kidman came under fire for only thanking her daughters with second husband Keith Urban in her acceptance speeches in 2017 and 2018.
Meanwhile, Kidman recently revealed that Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret Urban, 7, both make cameo appearances on “Big Little Lies.”
