Idris Elba played a vital role in getting the party started at the royal wedding last year and was sent a selection of songs by Meghan Markle herself to play.
The DJ and actor told BBC Radio 1Xtra that the Duchess of Sussex sent him a long list of tracks that she wanted including rap music and Whitney Houston.
It had long been rumoured that Meghan and Prince Harry's first dance would be to Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody and while we still don't know if that's true, Idris did confirm that he played the track and that it went down a treat among the guests.
"It went off!" the 46-year-old newlywed told DJ Ace during the interview to promote his upcoming projects.
"Meghan sent me a playlist with some bare [lots of] tunes on it," Idris said adding that there was music from West Coast rappers – who could have been Dr Dre, Tupac or even Snoop Dogg.
The Thor actor refused to confirm if Meghan had requested these rappers after DJ Ace quizzed him further on his coveted DJ-gig.
Laughing Idris said: "I am not saying nothing! Ask Meghan and Harry."
Idris also gushed over his own recent nuptials, where he tied the knot with wife Sabrina Dhowre in April.
They headed to Marrakesh along with 150 of their close family and friends for the three-day extravaganza at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel.
Their wedding was covered for Vogue, with the couple securing their own joint cover to celebrate their big day.
